Tragically Delicious is a comic strip created by myself in late 2004. At first I had no intention of posting it online, having already been unsuccessful at being able to keep up with schedule I had for comics on my previous site, the now defunct binarylanguage.com. After getting quite a few strips completed, being pretty happy with the art and along with starting up doing Binary Language of Love again I decided to take another crack maintaining a site.

Starting off with Tragically Delicious. I intended the name to just be a general name for the site with all my stuff falling under different headers but this one strip never seemed to get a better title (I hate naming things) so I guess it's gonna stick. One day I was perusing DVDs at Future Shop when this pale white rapper guy walks in by himself and starts rapping. Midway though his rap, in which he made liberal use of the N-word incidentally, the guy seriously trips on his oversized pants and says "T'sup?". The whole incident was so absurd I can to draw it for my friends for posterity. The rest is history.

Everything that happens in Tragic D is 100% really something insane that's happened to me. Or at least 87% real, I sometimes have to change the dialogue slightly to capture the spirit of what happened in 3 panels. The great thing about it is that I don't actually have to write anything. I seriously, seriously want to someday get these printed into a book which will undoubtedly fall into indie comic obscurity. SERIOUSLY!

The Binary Language of Love! Back in College (I hated college) a few friends and I were bored out of our friggin' skulls and do just about anything to get us through class. I'm not sure what we were going through but a combination of boredom beyond boredom, Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast and possibly to much senseless noise/industrial music led me to draw this strip on a piece of paper and hand it around. It was one of those things where we were supposed to be "all-quiet" and instead we were like "all-trying not to burst out laughing at this random stringing of panels I was trying to pass off as a comic"

In 2003 I redrew all the strips I had and launched binarylanguage.com. It lasted about half a year before I gave it up. It was too obscure, too few people seemed to get it and too much work for what I was getting out of it. Which sounds bad but hey...that's what happened. When I started drawing Tragic D I got the urge to start doing random Binary Language of Love's again, and for whatever reason they seem better received by more people than they did 3 years ago. I have no idea why.

The Binary Language of Love makes me laugh.

Near Mint. I read a lotta comic books, probably like 40 a month + backissues, Graphic Novels or whatever else I've got so sometimes I like to poke fun at things I find funny. There is no kinda schedule for this one whatsoever but I hope you'll check it out from time to time to see what I've got. Also if you've got suggestions, feel free to fire 'em off to me.

Tragically-Delicious.com launched in July 2006 with over 50 various comic strips I've done over the last little while and updates with 2 strips a week, one Tragic D and one Binary Language of Love. Sprinkled from time to time is anything else I get done lke random art, Near Mint comics or whatever else I get motivated to do. You can always keep up with the latest updates on the main page though.

Thanks for comin' out!
