 September 27th, 2007 - I guess Halo 3 came out this week. Well if every 5th commercial on television, the 4 hour countdown on G4, every website I go to, my Mountain Dew and the Google ads on my own message board are to be believed anyway. Julia's brother (who may be reading this, Hey dude, sorry about the Halo sass!) is a huge Halo fan of epic proportions. Julia and her mom were awesome enough to go stand in line to get his wacky Halo box at Midnight this week as he was away to University. Now that's love! I've been ragging on videogames a lot this year. It just hasn't been my year. When I get going on a topic like games sucking, music sucking, movies etc...I don't do it 'cause I hate games, music, movies. I do it 'cause I LOVE games, movies and music and want them to do better. 10 years ago I used to go off on TV all the time, but now we're in a borderline golden age of TV writing with the HBO and Showtime shows and now all the networks trying to follow suit with shows based around solid writing. Guess what, no complaining about TV. When things are bad, I don't think there's anything wrong with saying "this is horrible" as long as you stop when things get better, you know? Only 1 month until Halloween, I can't wait. I'm going to order my costume today...finally..for real! |
